Tea and cakes afternoon on World Homeless Day raises £75 for local charity SASH On this year’s World Homeless Day we held an afternoon of tea and cakes to raise money for SASH.

Hudson Moody is proud to support local charity, SASH.

SASH helps homeless 16-25 year olds in York, North Yorkshire and East Yorkshire by providing supported lodgings and a safe place to stay for young people threatened with homelessness.

  SASH places young people in a safe place to live with a Supported Lodgings host who acts as a mentor.

The young person pays money towards rent and bills whilst acquiring the knowledge and skills they need to become independent.

  SASH works closely with local authorities and other agencies to ensure that the young people get the advice and support they need.

  As its ongoing charity of choice, Hudson Moody donates £5 to SASH for every testimonial it receives from satisfied customers.

And on this year’s World Homeless Day Hudson Moody held a tea and cake afternoon to raise money for the cause.

They were delighted to raise an additional £75 from clients and friends which is enough for SASH to be able to provide 5 nights of emergency accommodation to vulnerable young people in York.
